High School Radio - DSHS Promotional Video(Uploaded 29/3/11)

Six Year 9 students considered to be Gifted and Talented in ICT who were invited to attend a radio workshop at King Charles I School in Kidderminster on Tuesday 8th March 2011, joining students from other Worcestershire schools.

Assigning themselves roles, they produced a team name 'Revolution' (inspired by the design of the school logo) and the tag line 'From Droitwich Spa to Afar' (representing the links with local and wider community) before planning and producing two pieces.

The day culminated in a final competition to see which group completed the best High School Radio promotional advert for their school and a short show...THEY WON!! They were commended (and I will certainly second it) for their excellent team work, communication, efforts and maturity...they definitely demonstrated the 5 R's throughout the day and produced a great advert for Droitwich Spa High School to boot.
